The Team

Caleb Hunt

Sales, Marketing & Design

Caleb’s passion for construction began at an early age, working alongside his father on job sites and learning the trade from the ground up. Over the years, he honed his skills across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, becoming a seasoned journeyman with decades of hands-on experience.

He discovered his love for design early, creating custom landscaping, hardscaping, and carpentry projects while still in high school. Today, Caleb combines that creative vision with technical expertise to design and manage stunning decks, outdoor spaces, and custom construction projects that are both beautiful and structurally sound.

At Creative Concepts & Design, Caleb brings his abundant creativity and deep construction knowledge to every project, ensuring every build reflects quality, innovation, and lasting value.

Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors and friendly fishing competitions with his fiancé, Laura — though she often gets the upper hand!

Glenn Rhees

Hardscape Craftsman & Master Mason

With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, Glenn Rhees has become known for his precision, reliability, and artistry in hardscape design. Growing up on the West Coast of California, Glenn discovered his passion early, learning stonework directly under a skilled stone mason. Those early experiences shaped his commitment to detail and long-lasting construction.

Glenn went on to become a lead foreman for one of Des Moines’ most respected hardscape companies, where he oversaw custom outdoor living spaces, advanced paver installations, and complex masonry features for both residential and commercial clients.

He holds ICPI and PICP certifications for residential and commercial paver installation, reflecting his dedication to proper base prep, drainage, structural performance, and the latest industry best practices. Glenn is constantly working to refine his techniques and stay on the cutting edge of modern hardscaping.

Now residing in the Greater Kansas City metro area, Glenn brings his wealth of experience to projects throughout the region. When he’s not designing or building, he’s spending time with his wife Anna and their kids, Roc (11) and Farynn (14), enjoying family time and outdoor adventures.

Pat Hunt

Lead Project Coordinator

Pat Hunt is the lead project coordinator at Creative Concepts & Design in Kansas City. He is often the first point of contact for homeowners planning a new deck, pergola, or outdoor-living project. Pat brings more than 50 years of construction experience to our team.

Born in 1956 and a U.S. Army Veteran, Pat started in the trades in 1971 as a carpenter’s helper on a framing crew. By 1977, he was operating his own construction business. His background covers structural carpentry, residential framing, remodeling, and project management. This depth of knowledge helps customers understand timelines, materials, and build processes with confidence.

Pat’s role at Creative Concepts & Design focuses on project coordination, customer communication, scheduling, and quality assurance. His attention to detail, calm communication style, and extensive field experience make him a trusted guide for homeowners throughout the Kansas City metro.

Outside of work, Pat enjoys spending time with his grandsons, attending sporting events, fishing, and painting. He is a lifelong Chiefs fan and a proud Kansas City resident.

Aaron Allison

Lead Carpenter / Deck & Framing Specialist

Aaron is a lifelong Kansas City native and Oak Park High School graduate who brings decades of hands-on trade experience to Creative Concepts & Design. After finishing the Building Trades program in Kansas City in 1998, he cut his teeth working for a residential framing crew — learning the ropes, mastering the craft, and proving day in and day out that quality and integrity matter.

In just three years, Aaron launched his own construction company. Over time he led multiple crews of more than 30 employees, building everything from modest 1,500 sq ft starter homes, to expansive 11,000 sq ft custom homes, and even large multifamily housing projects. That breadth and depth of experience — from foundation to finishing touches — bring a unique perspective and unmatched framing expertise to every deck or structure he builds.

At Creative Concepts & Design, Aaron applies that same commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and structural integrity to every deck, pergola, or outdoor build. He understands that when you call us, you’re trusting us with your home — and he treats each project as if he were building it for his own family.

Outside of work, Aaron’s a dedicated family man who loves cheering on his daughter Makenzie at her cheer and gymnastics competitions. On top of that, he’s often found under the hood of her racecar — fine-tuning and tinkering, always pushing for that next win.

With Aaron on your project, you get more than a carpenter — you get a seasoned builder who cares about quality, durability, and creating outdoor spaces that stand the test of time.

Reilly

Chief Canine Office / Resident Problem Solver

Meet Sydney “Reilly” Reilly, our Italian Spinone with a nose for quality and an eye for detail. Named after the legendary double agent who inspired 007, Reilly keeps a close watch over every project at Creative Concepts & Design.

Nothing escapes the boss: if he senses something is off, he’s quick to alert the team and retrieve a solution — usually with a wagging tail and a knowing look. Reilly takes his job seriously, ensuring that every build meets our high standards… or at least that we stay on track while he supervises.

When he’s not overseeing construction, Reilly enjoys long walks in a field full of pheasant, quality sniffs, and reminding us that sometimes the best ideas come on four paws.
