Leaving Reviews Matters
One of the best ways to help us spread the word about what we do is through online reviews. It takes a tiny bit more time to leave a review than to click the like button on our Facebook page, but as a small business owner, it is 100% the lifeline of the company and every family that works for us. Reviews are one the most important tools we have for attracting new business. Unfortunately, only about one in five clients leave a review. That’s why the folks that take the time to leave a review are truly our heroes. We can’t tell you how much it means. But we can show you!

To show our appreciation to our customers who take the time to leave a Google review, every year we give away a trip to a random reviewer. We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to the Brightwell family, the winners of Creative Concepts & Design’s 2024 Vacation Giveaway! They trusted Creative Concepts & Design to bring their dream deck to life, and now they’re enjoying a dream vacation for their trouble! We sent them on an all-expenses-paid vacation to Henderson Resort in Destin, Florida to enjoy the sugar-sand beaches.
When they returned, these KC deck owners and vacation winners sent us an email with a note saying, “Thanks so much to both of you for this wonderful 5-star vacation!” They were kind enough to send pictures and give us permission to share them on our blog and social media. Google Reviews Are Critical to Business Growth
Consumers know that Google reviews are fair and impartial because unlike on their websites, business owners can’t hide the bad ones and only show their good side. According to Good Reviews here are some recent statistics that will show how critical having good online reviews is to a business:
1. About 90% of customers read reviews before visiting a business. (Forbes)
2. 93% of customers will read reviews of local businesses to determine its quality. (BrightLocal)
3. If a business has more than nine current reviews, they earn 52% more revenue than the average. If a business has more than 25 current reviews, that increases to 108%. (Womply)

Leaving a Google Review Is Easy
We’d like to encourage you to leave good reviews for the local businesses that do good work. It not only helps the business but other consumers who are looking for a company they can trust. The rules are simple – Log in to your Google account. Search on Google for the business you want to review. Click on the number of reviews that show in the blue text. Click “Write a review” in the top right-hand corner. Leave an honest review and that’s it.
