They offer an element of surprise and create a feeling of wonder and anticipation.

Spiral staircases are a great way to add a little curve to your design. Typical decks have straight staircases that tend to take up a lot of space. Consider adding a spiral staircase to add a fun twist and a little unexpected beauty to your deck.
